At times multiple modalities are are necessary for healing to occur. Click here to find a physician. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a means of providing additional oxygen to your body tissues. This is done by placing the patient's entire body under increased atmospheric pressure in a closely monitored airtight chamber. During HBOT, the patient breathes 100% oxygen for a prescribed period of time. The following wounds respond well to Hyperbaric medicine: - Diabetic Wounds
- Any wound present beyond 30 days or failing to improve
- Slow or non-healing surgical wounds
- Resistant Foot Ulcers
- Lower Leg Ulcers
- Radiation injuries to bone and soft tissue
- Slow healing amputation and graft sites
Our hyperbaric chambers are equipped with the patient's comfort
in mind. Temperature is closely monitored and audio and video
features are added for enjoyment.
