Urological Surgery
Urological surgery deals with issues of the male and female
urinary tract, including the bladder, ureter, kidney and
urethra, as well as the male reproductive system. Although
technically a surgical sub-specialty, a wide variety of clinical
conditions can be encountered when treating urological
conditions so it is important for urologists to have knowledge
in other areas including internal medicine, pediatrics and
gynecology.
