If you are having surgery at South Hampton Community Hospital, please help us ensure your smooth check-in by doing the following:

  • Establish your arrival time
On the day before surgery, you will receive a call from your surgeon's office to assign your arrival time at South Hampton Community Hospital.
  • Report to the Registration Desk on the day of surgery
On the morning of your surgery, you should report to the registration desk in the hospital.
Once you register, you will be taken to your room.

If your provider has arranged for you to be admitted to the hospital for a procedure other than surgery, please come to the admitting reception desk at the hospital lobby.

Visiting Hours/Policy

We have open visiting in all areas of the hospital except for Surgical Recovery. For the comfort and consideration of all patients, we discourage more than two visitors per patient at one time because of the noise and contagions. We also discourage small children for the same reason.

ICU Visiting Hours

ICU visits are permitted in 10 minute time blocks every two hours. We invite a maximum of two visitors in the patient’s room at a time. ICU is open visiting, except for children under the age of 12.
