The Cardiology Department at South Hampton Community Hospital provides a comprehensive program for patients with cardiovascular disease. All patients undergo assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation to ensure we meet their individual care needs.

Our Board Certified cardiologists coordinate care with other members of the South Hampton healthcare team, including the surgery and emergency departments, to ensure the essential continuum of care for our cardiac patients.

Cardiopulmonary Department

The Cardiopulmonary Department offers a variety of inpatient and outpatient services.

• Exercise testing:

Cardiac Arrhythmia Services

Our Cardiology Arrhythmia Service provides diagnostic and treatment options for patients with cardiac rhythm disturbances.

Diagnostics

• 24- to 48-hour ambulatory Holter ECG monitoring
• Pacemaker implantation   
• Anti-arrhythmic drug therapy
